Dual pressing cylinders
Automated bale-out mechanism
Wide door and deep pressing chamber
Suitable for hygienic and high intensity environments
For businesses operating in hygienic or onerous conditions, the Mil-tek 2306S is the ideal solution for baling and recycling waste. In compliance with EN16500 standards on vertical balers, the 2306S stainless steel baler handles cardboard and plastic as well as other waste material. The 2306S is stainless steel, and can therefore withstand more challenging conditions such as food production and outdoor environments. A stainless steel pneumatic baler can safely be installed into food production areas without risk of contamination. It is not affected by moisture or food particles in the air, nor will it cause any risk of contamination from oil. The wider door of the 2306 allows users to load of large boxes and full bags of plastic packaging, and an automated bale-out function makes it easy and safe for users to tie the bale and empty the baler. The bale out function is a two-handed operation, to further ensure the safety of the user. The 2306S stainless steel baler has a pressing cycle as low as just 15 seconds and, as it is pneumatic, it can maintain constant downward pressure without requiring further power to do so. This also means the 2306S is free from hydraulic oil and free of electrical components.Bales of cardboard and plastic from a 2306S weigh up to 250kg and fit perfectly on to a standard pallet, for ease of storage and ease of transport.
Wilts Wholesale is a wholesaler of electrical supplies and equipment in the UK. They use a Mil-tek 306 which has helped them to make significant savings on their annual waste costs.
Breadwinner is an Australian catering and sandwich firm. They chose a Mil-tek baler for the financial benefits it provides, as well as its flexibility and usability.
ABC Lavpris is a chain of supermarkets in Denmark. They placed their Mil-tek balers close to the unpacking areas where waste is generated.
Stainless steel balers are more suitable for specialist environments: food production, agricultural facilities, offshore and shipping, all environments that present challenges for traditional balers.
Stainless steel balers are more robust in dealing with these environments, by preventing rust and corrosion. This also makes them suitable for hygienic locations such as food preparation or food production areas.
Many reasons. Pneumatic balers use significantly less energy. Mil-tek balers are equipped with ECODrive - patented pneumatic technology that applies constant downward pressure without using constant power. This enhances the density of compaction.
Pneumatic balers are much quieter than hydraulic balers, and are more hygienic, making then much more suited to being installed inside the working environment.
No specialist skills are required to operate the baler. Miltek recycling machines are designed with key tenets: user-safety and simplicity.
They are designed for use by all members of staff, from all industries. During installation, a qualified Mil-tek Technician will train key members of staff on the use of the baler, how to tie a bale, the the bale-out process and some simple troubleshooting.
In order for your machine to continue running optimally, Mil-tek recommend that you service you machine at least once year. Even though our machines have an estimated life span of approximately 10 years, many of our oldest machines are still running after 15-20 years. A well cared for and regularly serviced machine will pay for itself several times over the course of its life.
