One machine to compact cardboard and plastic
The Mil-tek HZT600 Horizontal Baler is a hydraulic baler with upwards of 60 tons of pressing force. It is designed for heavy and continuous use in locations that produce large amounts of cardboard, plastic and packaging waste. A HZT600 horizontal baler operating at full output can create more than two mill size bales of cardboard or plastic per hour. Mill size bales can be sent directly to recycling mills for processing and recycling.A large opening allows for waste to be continuously and safely loaded into an area of one cubic metre, where it will continuously be pressed. A pressing cycle of just 28 seconds ensures waste can continuously be loaded into the machine. The machine sensors can detect if waste is being loaded, and will automatically continue the pressing cycle. The sensors will also stop automatically once all the waste has been pressed. The high pressing force and speed of horizontal balers makes them ideal for businesses that handle large volumes of waste cardboard, waste plastic, and waste packaging. Logistics and distribution centres, packaging warehouses, recyclers and printing companies typically handle large volumes of bulky waste material, and horizontal waste baling machines allow them to do this efficiently. Bales from a horizontal baler are tied manually using Easy Loop steel wire ties, followed by an automated bale-ejection process. Bales produced can be upwards of 450kg in weight depending on the material used, and can be easily stacked and stored on standard European pallets.

Product features of HZT600 horizontal compactor
The floorspace of the HZT600 covers 7.5 metres and requires a 3-phase connection. A Mil-tek technician will guide the installation process.
The open top allows for continuous loading of waste material. If the machine sensor detects that waste is still be loaded, it will continue to cycle.
The machine has an indicator to determine when to bale out. EasyLoop Steel wires are fed through channels around the bale, and the machine has an automated bale ejection mechanism.
Bales from a HZT600 weigh up to 450kgs and can be stored and transported on a standard Euro pallet.
Tons! The open top allows continuous feeding of waste boxes or plastic. If continuously loaded and operating optimally, the HZT600 can make up to 2 450kg bales per hour. That's approximately 16 bales per working day, 80 bales per week, totalling around 36 tons of waste.
You could, but we do not recommend it. In order to maximise the quality of the baled material, and maximise the cost you can sell it to recyclers for, Mil-tek recommends that you bale cardboard and plastic seperately.
If you handle mixed quantities of each material, one of experts can advise you on a suitably smaller machine to bale the other material.
