The Mil-tek 50SD Mill Size Baler features an automatic sliding door that simplifies the loading process, and ensures the baler is ready to compact new material when it is needed. The pressing force of the 50SD can be adjusted to suit the material being compacted, making it flexible to suit. In addition to compacting cardboard and soft plastic, the 50SD can also handle E-waste, hard plastic, and even PET materials, producing bales of up to 300 kg. Compacted bales are mill sized and designed to fit perfectly on standard pallets making them highly valuable for recycling purposes, and easy to store for collection.
The 50SD is safe and easy to use. The large size makes it suitable even for larger waste materials. Simply adjust the pressing force based on the material you wish to compact.
The baler is activated by the push of a button. When the pressing is done, the sliding door will automatically rise, making it highly efficient in busy workplaces.
When the indicator informs you the baler is full it's time to bale out. This is done via a simple wiring system, and the two-handed bale out feature.
The 50SD is suitable for most working environments, We always encourage users to position it as close to the source of waste as possible.
Courtesy of an automated door opening, staff can load the 50SD continuously and avoid waiting time when waste needs to be thrown into the baler.
When the 50SD is full, an indicator will tell you! All you have to do is tie the bale with the supplied steel wires.
The bale-out procedure is semi-automated. Simply press the 2-button bale-out,and your compacted bale will be ejected onto a standard Euro pallet.
The 50SD is primarily used to bale cardboard and plastic, but is also suitable for compacting other materials such as hard plastic (HDPE), E-Waste and PET Bottles. If you have a material, you are unsure it can bale, get in touch with a Mil-tek rep as we might already know the answer or can run a test with your material.
With a noise level of 70 dB, it is similar to that of a vacuum cleaner, and among the most silent hydraulic balers available on the market.
The 50SD requires an annual service to ensure it is operating correctly and safely.
The 50SD is powered exclusively by a 3-phase 32 amp adaptor. (See specifications below)
